During my Certificate IV Graphic Design studies, I had the opportunity to collaborate with a group from the Events course on their final project. Their ambitious undertaking involved establishing an event business and meticulously planning, launching, and executing a real-world event. My role was to contribute to their brand identity, a crucial element for any successful venture.
My primary responsibility was to develop their brand identity. This encompassed the creation of a distinctive logo that would visually represent their business and resonate with their target audience. Following the logo design, I proceeded to design business cards, ensuring they reflected the brand’s aesthetic and provided essential contact information.
Beyond the core branding elements, I was also tasked with designing promotional materials to generate interest and attract attendees to their inaugural event. This included crafting visually appealing flyers and tickets. The event they chose to host was a “Sip’n’Paint” class, a creative and engaging activity designed to provide a fun and memorable experience for participants. This project provided valuable experience in applying graphic design principles to real-world scenarios.
