Mythical Games, an innovative video game development studio, commissioned a unique custom logo design with one clear directive — invent a brand-new mythical creature to represent our company. Rather than using existing beasts like dragons or phoenixes, the logo needed to feature an original hybrid animal, brought to life through professional photo compositing and digital illustration in Adobe Photoshop & Illustrator. ‘Mythical Games’ Logo design by Janelle Hickson
Design Goals

✅ Ensure scalability across print, digital, and motion graphics.

As the designer, I sourced high-resolution Snow Leopard photography, selecting various elements specifically wings, horns, antlers and fur from multiple species. Using advanced masking, blending, and texturing techniques, I merged these features into a seamless, never-before-seen creature to represent the company’s identity: imaginative, powerful, and future-forward.
The final logo blends fantasy aesthetics with modern game branding, With vector banners designed to scale across UI icons, merchandise, launch screens, and other assets.
